Free Respiratory Protection Program Training and Infection Prevention Skill Development Resources for Skilled Nursing Facilities

APIC Consulting Services, a subsidiary of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), is offering a no-cost program funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health to improve infection prevention and control (IPC) capacities and competency in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Eligibility:

Open to all Medicare-funded skilled nursing facility staff throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Enrollment Includes:

Respiratory Protection Program Training Course valid September 1 – December 31, 2024.
Long-Term Care Infection Preventionist Essentials Training Course valid for 12 months.
APIC Membership valid for 12 months (existing members will receive an additional year of membership added to their current term). Individuals must be occupationally or professionally involved in the practice of infection prevention and control and/or epidemiology.
